Default Transmission problem - P0733

Hi All,
My 2018 2.7L is right at 80K miles.
Last week I noticed that it started to rev up when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear when the tranny was cold. Once it got up over 140F it seemed fine. Until this morning. After a couple of miles, the little yellow wrench came up on the dash and the truck lost power. I got off the highway at the first exit and stopped at the bottom of the ramp. Once I applied the throttle it was stuck in 1st gear and revved up without moving only to slam into the 4th gear. Above that it all seemed better, but started again once it shifted down. Luckily I wasn't far from home so I made it back and hooked up to ForScan.
DTC in PCM: P0733. Gear 3 Incorrect Ratio.
I already had an appointment for a couple of recalls scheduled for next week, but I guess I will have to have it towed there now.
Could TSB 18-2274 help address this problem? or would I have to have the tranny rebuilt?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Code 733.
The Engine Computer (PCM) uses a number of sensors Signals to > calculate < what gear the Transmision should be in at any time.
If that calculation does not match the gear or its Timed operation after three attempts, the code is set, and you experience drivability issues.
This is how the PCM knows there is a Transmission issue of that kind, no matter what the cause is.
That cause is what must be found.
.
Goos luck.

Thank you all.
I brought it to the local transmission shop this morning. Waiting for the diagnosis.

I just spoke to the transmission guy and he said he checked the fluid level (it was low but not horrible, a little dark). Added a quart, reset the code and the truck runs fine. Could it be this easy? He will let me know on Monday what the next step should be.
This is the best news I heard all week.

For your sake I hope so... but I doubt it... Ide bet that your in for some revised version of tsb 22-2428. A tcm reflash, then valve body and finally the revised cdf drum and all the bs associated with having the trans out. Unfortunately this is a know design flaw and well documented issue hense the revised parts. Most people don't even know there is an issue due to it only acting up before the trans reaches operating temp and works normal at operating temp untill complete failure. My cdf drum ate the bushing at 74000 km/46250 miles. I finally won with my esp as it happened a week out of factory warranty.
I wish you the best of luck my friend, I'm hoping you beat the odds!
keep is posted
edit: I discovered my issue by accident, I though my truck was running great until one day I left for work stupid early (230am) and was just trying to quietly tip toe out my driveway and not wake anyone. Had this not happened and being able to replicate it evey time I would have drove it untill complete failure.

Thank you.
I am planning for the worst, hoping for the best.
I have an appointment at the dealership on Tuesday for the drivetrain recall reflash. We will see what happens.
