Default Transmission bogging down

I have a 2015 F150 on 285/65r20's. It's got the livernous performance tune and the speedo calibrator. I have really noticed that when I'm driving slowly 20-40km/h'ish that it really bogs down and almost refuses to shift down. It will be staying in 4th or 5th(depending on speed) when it really needs to be down a gear. If I put it in tow/haul or sport, it shifts and drives perfectly.
Is this something I'm going to have to live with, or is something wrong?

I don't think it's related to the livernous tune. It seems to do it even untuned. It's like the tires are too big for the transmission, but they aren't that much bigger than stock?

I meant to say I..

What do you mean bogging and tires being too big. Engine rpms go down and feel like it's not gonna recover?

Same thing here. I just put in sport mode. Sometimes I’ll just lockout 6th or 5th gear running in town as well.

Once you go paddle shift...you won't go back. Even using the console shifter buttons is better than "D".

I think they all do it. Mine does it unless it's in sport mode... so the normal startup routine is engine start, double-tap shifter, double-tap traction control.
