Trans mission shutter P0720 code
Ok guys, this one is a little wired. I have a 2016 3.5 eco with 81000 miles. I can drive my truck around the city and no shutter or shift issues. If I get on the freeway and go abouve 70 MPH for about 2 hours I start getting some shuttering. I was traveling across country and the shutter got so bad a couple times it went into limp mode and gave the P0720 code. I would pull over turn the truck on and off and it would drive fine and then start shuttering again after 45 min to and hour. Once I pulled back into the city and drove around with lower MPH I had no issues. I’ve read that the lead frame is the fix for the P0720 but these symptoms does seem like the typical symptoms of the speed sensor being bad. I’ve bought the truck used and I have never changed the fluid in the transmission. What do you guys suggest the cause to be?
I waited for ohers to reply to see what they would tell you.
Why would you second guess the code?
That circuit has been detected as a fault.
720 is a circuit error.
Maybe the harness, the plugup or the sensor.

min second guessing the code because when you read on an Output shaft speed sensor when it fails it gives you totally different symptoms than what I’m experiencing. I’ve also ready on transmission hesitation and folks just changing fluid fixed there issue.
