Default Trans fluid drip

Just returned from a 4200 mile road trip. A lot of mountain driving involved. I used the manual shift and brake to
control much of the decline. Worked like a charm. After crawling under to do a oil change I noticed these drips.
Nothing on the ground, but I can't find the source of where they are coming from. Getting ready to go on a 3 hr.
drive to go camping but not comfortable taking off until I get this figured out.

from the picture, it looks like its leaking from the rear seal in the transmission. unfortunately there is no quick fix for that, if its still under warranty, go ahead an schedule a service for first thing Monday morning on your app, and include the picture. hopefully they can source the seal quickly and pull and press the new one in for you that day.

The second pic shows the seal area is dry.

I only see one picture.

Looks like it's leaking a decent amount to be forming those drips. Have you ever had the trans serviced?

Could have been overfilled and got to a higher than normal temperature from the mountain driving causing fluid to overflow from the vent.

I would clean the area as much as possible, make sure the dip stick is tight, and check the torque on the pan bolts. If you go to tightening them be careful not to crack the plastic pan.

Then I would take it for a drive to get the trans up to operating temp and see if you can spot exactly where the fluid is coming from.

I'm guessing heat and pressure from the mountain driving causing blow by. But I can't locate the vent area. The pan area is totally dry as is the dip stick area. Trans has not been serviced as it just turned 9,000 miles when we got home.
