I doubt it. Plain and simple, BS.

LOL, whats the bet then? You say my post is BS, What do I get for proving you wrong? I can provide documented proof of time spent on deployment. My name, dates, rank, etc. DD forms, whatever will satisfy the bet.
How confident are you that I am lying? I'll bet whatever you want, I take paypal, gift cards, whatever.
I wasn't stationed too far from you in ft. Stewart Ga. 3-7 cav, 19k. bring it

If you want a train horn, get a train horn.

Stop giving a **** about what some forum cop or others have to say about it. Are they paying your bills or sleeping with you? Probably not. Do they really matter then? You don't need their approval to do what you want to your truck with your money. You probably know there may be a risk of getting a ticket or worse from the use of a train horn, so if you decide to assume that risk it's up to you.

It's really that simple. And I may or may not have a train horn myself...

LOL, excellent post. My only reason for engaging the "others" is to point out the inaccuracy of their "your gonna get tickets, get beat up, get sued" mindset.
Some people might actually believe them, hell they believe themselves, haha

I chose the 5 gallon tank and 480c compressor because i used mine to run air tools and inflate tires. if you just want horns get the conductors special and you will be happy. if you want to spend to much money, 12 gallon tank, 2 480c compressors and k5 horns.

!!!! These things will **** people off !!!!!!
Thats some funny ****

Air horns are one thing but the train horns are like a douchbag gathering call.

How dense are you? I can't wait to see how you spin the next reply to justify what you want. Go ahead, do what you want. I will not defend you when you get your *** curb stomped with a dose of non-internet reality.

I really started out nice, not going any further.

There is difference between operating noise levels and signaling devices.

Has anyone installed a train horn on their ride? What brand, decibel, gallon size tank? Plug and play? Installation location?

All advice/ideas are welcomed.
I spent months researching and spending $400 here and $500 there, but finally but the bullet and spent more than I'd ever dreamed I would for a horn. But I found the best deal at realtrainhorns.net after searching every option available. Now that being said they were slow to deliver and I had to provide my own wiring and mounting kit. But it's a real top notch system with a super nice powder coated Nathan. Horn blasters is quite a bit more expensive but I think they have their proverbial stuff together and it all goes together rather quickly. Just IMHO.

Nothing says redneck like:

Train horns
Light bars
Wheels that stick way out
Wheel well lights
Exhaust stacks in bed
