Default "Trailer hooked up"

Is it just me, or has Ford corrected that goofy habit of the truck flashing pop ups and warnings in the center 4in. about trailer being hooked up. I used to have to manually toggle through menus and select "No Trailer" after having towed a boat. For a while now (not sure how long) there are no such pop ups or notices.

I remember threads about this in the past, but it seems we just had to toggle through and select no "trailer every" time.

No clue what you are talking about, maybe that was an issue on the last gen? Never had an issue when I tow. If the electric pin in the back is connected to the truck then it shows I'm towing. If not it doesn't. I have a 2015, so your 2016 should be similar.

Well-documented issue on the forum. Have you had your truck in for service and had them do any updates? If not, then even if Ford had fixed this, how would your truck have rec'd the fix?
