Hello, I have 2016 f150 sport and I installed one of those led light bars Inbetween the bottom of the tailgate and the bumper , it plugs in to where a trailer would plug in , so it disables my back up sensors.
Does any one know how I can have this plugged in and my back up sensors work ?
It says trailer connected every time I start the truck .

 

You have to wire it into the tail light.

 

it will complete the trailer plug circuit....so yeah^^^^

 

Livoniabob , I didn't expect someone so close to awnser my question I am in Allen Park. Lol

But would anyone happen to have the wiring diagram for the tale light , like what color wires are what ?

 

It's been done by members on here,,, seems I remember some had instructions on how they did it.

Best bet is to try some searches,, try Google to search and it should find you the posts on here.
