Default Trailer Connected Alert

So this weekend I kept getting an alert on my driver info center that says a trailer is connected and that my BLIS is deactivated. I did not tow anything or connect anything to my hitch. I shut off my car and restarted but the alert came back on while driving. Anyone else experience this "glitch"?

Make sure you have it set to no trailer.. it doesn't know enough to check for itself that there isn't one connected.
You didn't plug anything into the trailer plugs did you?

Thanks. I did check to make sure it wasn't set to connected. I even tried having it forget a trailer. I didn't touch anything on the hitch or the plugs. It just randomly came on a few times. I will bring it in, but I thought to see if this was a known glitch.
