Congrats!

It's very frustrating that Raptors are not in COTUS. But, the dealer told me the anticipated build date is 8/21 and ETA on delivery was 1st week of Sept.

As a teacher I rarely, if ever, wish for September to get here, but ...

I'd much rather have cash rebates of $5,750.

NC
Here's how that breaks down:

$ 2250 Retail Customer Cash
$ 1500 Bonus Cash
$ 250 Retail Customer Cash
$ 500 Military (I'm retired Air Force)
$1250 Financing Assistance (If you finance through Ford at going rate ~ 5.9%)

Now before you say "But won't you pay more in interest at 5.9% than the $1250 covers?" I'll say Yes, but nothing prevents you from paying off that loan early.

I searched the net to find those numbers before my salesman confirmed them. And yes, it was these incentives OR the 0% @ 60 months.

Remember, incentives vary with area so yours may be different.

Well here's a kick in the teeth. Yesterday cotus.ford.com reported my truck was awaiting shipment with an estimated delivery date of 8/24 YEA!

Today it says "In Transit" with an estimated delivery to the dealer of........ 1/23/2018. Wait, what?!

Either that's a glitch in the system or the truck it's on is making 73 stops before it comes my way!

Not a fan of cotus at all here. Just call your sales guy and have him spend 2 minutes looking at ford's vehiclevisibility and give you the ETA showing on it

Beo-Chin is right. I use COTUS as a guide to keep from calling the dealer as long as it looks right. As soon as something doesn't, I'm on the phone as soon as they open. You know that is not correct, hang in there. As I recall during the 2015 MY this was not uncommon to get some off the wall update for about a day before it got loaded for shipping.

So here's a dealer in Chatham, Ontario taking delivery of a new 2018. That's Race Red, if I'm not mistaken. I thought Race Red was only being built in the Kansas City plant, which according to an earlier post isn't slated to start building these until tomorrow. What gives?

I think that means Dearborn is painting race red now. I noticed in the order guide that you can now get a race red with the special edition. For MY17 the race red was exclusive to kansas city while the special edition was exclusive to Dearborn. Is there a window sticker available at that dealer for the truck? That would clear it up.

It was one of the *many* 2018 pre-production promotion and test vehicles.

Call the dealer and ask if they sold it to somebody or if is still in their showroom.

It may have gone back to the plant to be scrapped.

Ah, that explains it. The dealer doesn't have it listed on their website yet. Heck, we can't even build a 2018 on the Ford Canada website yet.
