Your salesman can look up your order in a system that's referred to as 'vehicle visibility'. Among other things, this will show him when it has been scheduled for a specific DAY. If you have a cool salesman, s/he won't minding spending 30 seconds looking it up for you when you e-mail or call him/her.
When it gets to within 5-6 calendar days of the scheduled build DATE, they will assign what's called a "blend" number to it (this number will be in the top border area of your window sticker once you can access it). You can get your window sticker from COTUS after the vehicle has been 'blended' (about a day or so after it shows up as "In Production").
I'm going to make a separate thread explaining to everyone what a blend number is, since several people have asked.
DTP is not working three shifts. They have 3 crews running two shifts.
DTP is currently running two 10-hours shifts per day Mon-Fri. On Sat and Sun, they work one 10-hour shift each day.
Last I checked:
A-Crew works M-T 10 hours
B-Crew works Tu-F 10 hours
C-Crew works F, Sa, Su, and M (when A or B is off)
Therefore, Monday, Tuesday or Friday could actually produce a "Monday car" (but I wouldn't worry about that).

Recent movements:
29 JAN: Ordered
05 FEB: VIN issued
05 FEB: Schedule to build week of 02 MAR
13 FEB: Scheduled to build day of 02 MAR (Monday)
17 FEB: Estimated delivery 15 MAR
25 FEB: In Production (COTUS)
26 FEB: Blend number assigned; Window sticker available
27 FEB: Dealer invoice obtained
Looks like it's been blended in for next Tuesday 3/3.
I'm going to call that AM to find out when it will hit trim (that's where our HVAC is installed) and head over to watch it for a bit. It's ~4 hours from there until it rolls off as a finished truck.
Giggity-giggity!

After 10 weeks, I finally have a VIN (ordered 12/15/14). FWIW, my fleet vendor who ordered it says the extended range tank is holding up production due to short supply. Sounds fishy to me as I haven't seen anyone else on here have that issue, and it seems like lots of ER tanks have been ordered and received. Brittany has not heard it either, but she says the fleet vendor could have more information. COTUS finally shows my VIN, but no build date. Brittany says it is scheduled for build late March.

Looks like our trucks are taking the same patch. Will be neat watching your truck on the assembly line!
Hopefully not a stupid question, but how and/or where did you get your dealer invoice?
