Tracking Thread!! VIN's with Build Dates
Now showing built 8/21, and due at dealer 9/20. It spent about 3 days in "Awaiting Shipment" and it's now "In Transit." Not sure why it has estimated 10 days under the "In Transit" but 26 days to dealer.
Mine is the same way. It shows 16 days under In Transit and 40 days until showing up at dealership, October 4th. It shipped Aug 8th and 16 days would have been yesterday. I hope it shows up in the this week or next. I'm keeping my expectation low since it's taken this long so far.
Mine too is all over the board. It was built on Saturday 8/22. It said yesterday it was “In Transit” with an estimated 13 days for transit, yet it estimates the arrival at the dealer in 28 days (9/21). Today, it shows as 27 days to the dealer, but now says it’s awaiting shipment? So odd. At this point my race is the weekend of 9/12 and I want to follow the break in procedure and not tow for the first 1000 miles, so if it arrives anytime around 9/14-9/21 would be perfect. - AB

Definitely contact the dealer about it just to see how they can help and just get it on record. You might not get the step but may be able to bargain another perk of some kind out of them when the truck shows up because of this.

This should be fixable. Whether the dealer calls to modify the build or sources one on their own. If you ordered it and put a downpayment on it, its owed to you. My dealer f-ed up the interior color on my truck and were 'supposedly' able to have the build modified, I have yet to see the truck also VIN spec has yet to change. Guess I'll see in the coming days.
