Was pretty excited mine made it through before the shutdown, but maybe it still got caught up in the whole supply line. Cotus keeps ticking down days till delivery, its down to two days now even though it is still awaiting shipment.

I wonder the same for mine. Mine is specifically a RAIL truck on the window sticker, and my EDD is tomorrow, but there has been no news. We will see.

Mine went through production back on 4/24 so its been in shipping for quite a while now. My fear is its sitting in a yard waiting to fill up with more trucks, which aren't coming any time soon.

And I think both of us have brand new Bilstein 5100s just sitting there waiting for our trucks! Both are hard to come by these days.

Very nice truck! Good Luck and many Happy miles! I especially like those wheels, I ordered the LT tires which come with different ones...oh well.
Ordered mine 4/24 and cotus keeps saying it is scheduled for 5/22 and delivery out 30 days...a dream?
Got the 3K private cash email 5/12 and hope to use it. Where you able to use your PC?

So my dealer is offering to deliver my special order (placed 02/27) to my house tomorrow, along with the paperwork. It’s currently stuck in a town a few hours north of the dealership, but he’s working on getting a driver to get it moved.

Question is - is this a normal thing for dealers to do? I figured there’d be no way out of having to sit in the finance office for the hard sell on extras. And is there any additional transportation charge?

Just curious on your experiences with this.

I've never heard of something like that personally. I know in my state there is a 72 hour rule for a new vehicle purchase, where it can be returned for certain reasons within 72 hours. The 72 hours starts the second you drive it off their lot. Don't know how that would apply here.
I wonder if there is some advantage to the dealer never taking actual inventory for tax purposes, warranty, or otherwise?

My last two trucks (before my current RAM) were delivered to my house. The dealer I was working with, to really just play dealers off each other, was about two hours away. When it came down to final numbers, they were lower but two hours away. They offered to deliver it and I didn't argue. Filled out the paperwork at my dining room table, though I didn't finance the truck with them so that was easy.

Two years later, I was trading that truck in, and the same dealer drove up to my house, filled out the paperwork, and drove the trade away.

Probably not a "normal" occurrence, but have heard about it quite a few times.
