So I looked at the spread sheet today and checked who has a built truck already. One pattern emerged. They're all 3.5 Eco's and the only 5.0L with a build date start around the 8th of december. I had a feeling that even though they built a lot of trucks, they must have had something big in common that makes them all get built at once and that's the 3.5 ecoboost.

I read a few weeks ago that the Lima engine plant was only making 80 2.7's a day until after the first of the year when they would be a full production of that engine but don't know the daily output numbers.
My 2.7 was ordered 8/11 and built the week of 10/27.. 4X2 supercrew lariat..

All of the initial production is technically "dealer stock", so it makes sense that they are mostly producing the Lariats, KRs, and Plats as these represent the highest relative profit margin.
