Default Tpms sensors not reading

Hello everybody. I need some advice on tpms sensors. I recently purchased 17x9 fuel coupler wheels and 33x12.50x17 nitto ridge grapplers. Had discount tire install the wheels and tires on my truck. After they got done my tpms sensors stopped reading. Went back to discount tire and they checked out the sensors and they were working. The conclusion that was come up with was that since the valve stems are in the middle of the wheel and there is a dip on the inside of the wheel that it cannot read the sensors. Has anyone else ran into the issue before?
Or are there aftermarket tpms sensors that can be purchased that are maybe a little longer to fit in the wheel?
Any help would be appreciated

OIC! I thought you were saying like in the hub, where the axles connect. I'm not sure how them being in that location would cause a problem. I would take them back to Discount tire and tell them they are still not working. Thats my 2 cents.

I did yesterday. They are saying that it is too deep in the wheel for their programmer to read them. They took the tires off the truck and took out all the air and seperated wheel from the tire and they read fine
