Default TPMS Calibration

Hello guys, tried searching but could not find much information on the new 2015+. Also my dog ate my manual... literally.

I got a new set of rims and tires with TPMS. The rims/tires had about 2000km on them so they are not brand new.

Is there a procedure I can do to relearn the new sensors or is something that must be done on with a special tool at a shop?

You're in luck. Unless your dog ate the internet also, the manual is online. http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo...US_09_2014.pdf Stop letting your dog into the glove compartment of your truck.

If the rims came from a 2015 or 2016, the vehicle will pickup the TPMS or you can follow the instructions in the manual.

If they came from a 2014 or prior, you need to go buy new TPMS because they are not compatible.

The owners manuals are available online here:

http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo...US_09_2014.pdf

And here:

If you use the second link, just scroll down, and select wheels and tires. Then select tire pressure monitoring system. The reset procedure is in there. This is how I do it every time I rotate my tires. *thumbs up*

By the way, the second link is html, and FAR easier to navigate, than having to scroll through 580 pages of a pdf file.
