Towing Question
I have a three horse goosneck with living quarters that weighs around 10k lbs. One of my friends told me that the 2015 F150 would tow 12k lbs. (equipped properly). I live in Florida so it would all be on flat land, we tow only 2-3 times a month and never further than 250 miles. Would the F150 be a possibility? Thanks in advance.

I am not a towing expert like the other 12,000 cowboys here...but I do know if your towing with a fifthwheel or gooseneck...it tows much much easier then the hitch tow...I'd guess you'd be fine with a F150.

Post on the Towing section of the forum and make sure you understand both Payload and max weight capacity for the truck. No way can you tow that trailer though.

In my opinion you will be fine. Get the HD tow pkg with the EB. The 3.55 axle will be good enough but you could go higher. I pull much more than that with no effort.
If you were pulling a 10k trailer weekly or up and down the hills then I would tell you to find a 3/4 ton.
