Hey guys,

I know this has been done by several others but I cant seem to find what I need.

I have a 2018 F-150 501A Lariat and want to swap to some color matched towing mirrors. My current mirrors have BLIS and the puddle lights, but I don't think they have blinkers (could be wrong)and they are powerfold. I don't think they have the AAT senor built in because it is a very early 18 model.

I want the towing mirrors with puddle light and power fold. I don't need blinkers or power telescoping but if it comes with that that is fine. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a part number?

Find a vehicle on a dealer's lot with the options you are looking for and order for that specific VIN#.

I tried that, and prices were coming in around $1k per mirror. does that sound right? It seems crazy

Depends on where you purchase and what mirror options you have selected

Might want to try Tasca or some of the other online retailers

mirror part numbers are on the PDF. Not color matched caps but it'll get you the mirrors and you can do whatever you like with the caps. Only the superduty mirrors come with color matched caps but im not sure on the part numbers for those.You need to verify you do or dont have the AAT before even looking for mirrors.

Be very careful when ordering/swapping mirrors on a 2018 F150. There was a running change to the location of the ambient air temp sensor from behind the grille to the RH side mirror

SSM 47445 - 2018 F-150 Excluding Raptor - Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) Sensor Located in Exterior Mirror - Built On Or After 26-Feb-2018

2018 F150 vehicles excluding Raptor built at Dearborn Truck Plant on or after 26-Feb-2018 and at Kansas City Assembly Plant on or after 10-Mar-2018 have the AAT sensor located in the right exterior mirror. The AAT sensor is serviced separately from the mirror assembly. If the vehicle is built on or after the dates listed above, do not add the sensor and harness behind the grill. If the sensor is missing from the right mirror the incorrect exterior mirror may have been installed. Refer to Ambient Air Temperature Sensor GSB G0000178 for additional information. The Workshop Manual (WSM) and Wiring Diagram have been updated for non-Raptor vehicles for the early and late build AAT sensor locations. The sensor location on Raptor vehicles has not changed.

those are not the numbers you want then. the mirror you're looking for would start with jl3z for the passenger side. fl3z is a 2015 part number and does not have the aat sensor that you need. the driver side mirror should work from that number though.

Find a 2018 that has the mirror functions you want and the AAT sensor in the passenger side mirror and order for that VIN#

The part #s in the document do NOT apply to 2018s
