just purchased a 2019 F150 2.7 eco from dealers lot. 3.55 gears 7600 posted rating. Great. Now am looking at owners manual and is telling me I need a tow package or I cant tow more than 5000 pounds came with class 4 hitch, 4 @ 7 pin plug/ tow haul, trailes sway, 20 inch wheels. but no specific tow package listed, what Gives?

I believe with the stock hitch its 5,000lbs. You would need the "trailer tow package" for the posted rating. The "max tow package" doesn't come on the 2.7 if i remember correctly. Did you research tow packages or ask the dealer before purchasing?

trailer brake controller....most states and in Canada...trailers 3000 to 3500lbs or above needs it...
