Default Tow mirrors

been going back and forth on possibly adding tow mirrors to my order since i have the time to do so with my dealer not having the allocation this month. i could use the tow mirrors but dont really need them. im worried i think they will look huge and not really flow with the truck.

if you have tow mirrors please post some pics of them and your thoughts.

thanks

I ordered them and I love it. To me, it provides much more of a view of your blind spot and you wont miss a thing! They look a little big, but it will blend in with the truck since I plan on lifting it.

I had them on my 09 F250 and loved them. I did tow a race car and needed them. Much more view from them. I also ordered them on my 15 King Ranch. Won't be towing as much now. IMHO, I think the standard mirrors look a little Mickey Mouse.
I think it's fair to say, that if Fuel Economy is a concern, the Tow Mirrors won't help your Aero much.

Fuel mpg effect is a concern. How much of a difference will it really make tho?

To order tow mirrors it required 53A or 53C the tow packages.
I have them on my order due to coming from a 2011 F350 I am used to the bigger mirror. When I drove a 2015 F150 I did not like the smaller mirrors.

Probably not more than 1MPG. I have the max tow package on my 2015 custom build, but elected to stay with the mouse mirrors, rather than upgrade to the dumbo models. For someone who does frequent towing the tow mirrors are well worth the money, but if you are like me, your towing is limited, you do some off-roading, and plenty of parking in tight areas, I am not sure they are the best choice.

The best part of tow mirrors is they extend so you can have a better angle to see down the side of travel/box trailers. The clip ons will work but shake to no end.

Depends on your driving. City driving won't notice as much of a difference vs. when you are consistently over 60 mph, IE hwy...

I think my order included the tow mirrors (loved them on my 13 FX4 Eco) but $165 for 54W Power Mirrors scare me a bit because that does not seem like enough $ for the option. I guess I will find out in March.
