2015 Lariat FX4 4x4

Bought truck in May, and immediately starting having issues with the Touchscreen . Everytime the temp outside was over 90F, the touchscreen would be blacked out when the truck started, and then would restart itself after about 3 or 4 minutes (like it would cool down).

After 8-10 trips to my dealer, they decided to replace the Screen ONLY. Didn't work.

They then ordered a whole new head unit for the truck, and it basically fixed the issue. But , now i have lost navigation on my truck. Took it back to the dealer, and they said it probably just an update needed, but can't get it in till Monday to do that.

My question is: Does it seem like just an update issue, or are the two different Head Units for the trucks. ... one with Nav, and one without?

 

There are two different systems for Nav and without.

I don't have nav but think it uses a SD card. Maybe they forgot to install it?

 

Thanks for the suggestion, but the SD Card is installed. I'm thinking they forgot to hook something up, or ordered the wrong unit.

 

They failed to program it properly. What is your VIN (via PM). I can check to see what they did/didn't do.
