Anyone got the torque value for the circled bolts?
Cross member under the engine on 2017 with 3.5 EB.
was making a clicking grinding noise on slow turns. Thought I had a diff or CV issue. Found loose bolts. Got them gutentight now and noise went away but would prefer to torque to correct value. I am apparently not using the correct search terms to find it.
I torque my skid plate bolts to 25lb-ft, cross-member bolts to 65lb-ft. You're not going to find data on the internet, and I've yet to see anyone post up with specs from the service manuals.

85 lb·ft [115 N·m] for the horizontal bolts. 30 lb·ft [40 N·m] for the vertical bolts. From the WSM.
It took a minute to make the mental connection on how they got loose. Before my warranty expired i had my leaking oil pan replaced at dealer. So in the end I blame Ford for stupidly putting a plastic oil pan on the 2017 in the first place.
I will get these torqued properly today with a little loctite.
I would suggest against loctite on the 80lb-ft bolts, as it changes the torque values considerably. I think they are pinch, bolts, too, which don't need it. At least none of mine rotated freely.
I replaced a few with regular nuts after two disappeared about a year ago when I had them sitting under the truck overnight while I was working on it. They were still tight when I pulled them again in November.
As for the 30lb-ft bolts, they connect to clip nuts, which you can't loctite. They naturally lock though, as the diameter of the clip is slightly smaller than the bolt, so it provides constant pressure on the bolt. If one gets worn out from use, the only thing you can do is replace it.
