Default Torque converter

Anyone running a higher stall torque converter? Thinking about doing a circle d with a 3200 stall this winter. Just looking for input. Thanks.

3200 stall in a 4x4???? That won't last long if you do any off roading at all. On the street you fuel mileage will tank. High stall is good for drag racing and high performance vehicles. In a heavy 4x4 it will flat out suck. A low stall converter will help with low end torque but you need to really know what RPM range works best for what you intend to do.

Thanks for the info, I'm going to give Circle D a call tomorrow and see what the recommend. I think the lowest stall offered for my trans is 2500

Just really looking for a little bump down low. I had a 2600 in my Sierra and it seemed to make a pretty big difference. Hoping for the same results with this. I was debating lower gears or the converter but I just had my rear end rebuilt last December. Should have just done the gears then.....
