Default Torn between Revolver X2 and MX4

Can someone who sells these reach out to me with pricing info? I like everything about the MX4 except the fact that it blocks the rear window when up. Any downsides to the Revolver X2?

If someone who can make me a good deal on one or the other of these could reach out I would really appreciate it.

I had an x2 on my old truck. Only real drawback is that if you are on any kind of incline, it will roll up or unroll unless you tie it down.

Persoanlly, I can't decide if I should get the mx4 or x2 on my new truck. Let us know what you decide.

I don't get how this is a "drawback" considering there are straps you install as a part of the kit. Maybe you mean that you can't open it halfway?

Anyway, I love my X2. Anyone I encounter, from friends to random people at Lowe's/HD, are amazed if they haven't seen one before. It is a cool design with a high quality execution.

It isn't a huge drawback, just an extra step. Say you are on an incline uphill and want to take a box or 2 out of bed. On a flat surface you could do a roll or two back, grab boxes, then close it up. On an incline it will roll closed on you so now you have to completely roll it up, secure it, unload boxes, unsecure it, unroll it and lock. Again, not a huge deal breaker but a bit of an inconvenience.

I forgot to add, also, on the x2 and prev gen (which I also had) it seems like the felt comes off way to easy). Trying to handle the x2 in the summer (especially in az) without it will lead to burns on your hands. I do not think the mx4 has this problem. If only the mx4 didn't block your rear view :/

Truckalterations.com give them a call best price by far when I got mine last month. Shipped and delivered same week. I have the revolver x2 and it is great. Hard but rolling and extremely low profile. No water leaks etc

I really like my X2. It fits great on the truck and is probably the lowest profile cover on the market. I do not open mine often, it will be interesting to see how it works this winter with snow and ice though.

I have an X2 (from Truck Alterations, and...I recommend them). I'm really happy. It's covering a bedrug, which I'm also a HUGE fan of.

Like you I agonized over what do, I Like the X2- no regrets. Honestly, I don't think you'll have regrets either way.

I went with the f1 (mx4 but fibreglass) seen all the mx4's after a hail storm and they did not fair to well.
