Default Tonneaus with external locks

Looking for a tonneau that can be open without dropping the tailgate. Which ones have that capability?

My DiamondBack SE can be opened without opening the tailgate first. I believe all of the DiamondBack covers unlock externally..

Default Roll-N-Lock

Love my Roll-n-Lock. Can open & lock/unlock regardless of tailgate. Not to mention it has the optional quick-rails for cargo capability.... (roof rack, cargo basket, skis, bikes, canoes, etc)

My Undercover has to be open/raised to open the tailgate. If I need something in the truck bed, I raise the tonneau cover and reach in, but most of the time I lower the tailgate to get the item due to the height of the truck if the item is somewhat heavy or bulky.

Any chance you have a picture of your truck with Diamondback SE? I have going back and forth and keep coming to the Diamondback.

Not the SE but here’s a picture of mine with the 270. I’ve only had it on for a week but I’m happy with it. We’ve had some rain and I didn’t see any leaks.
