Tires - Letters in or out?

Personal preference really. I always used to run mine white letters out. My current tires don't even have white letters. I like it either way.

Letters in...
Letters in for our trucks. We like the look better anyhow, but also live on a very narrow street in Philly. I've had this truck 3 months and am starting to see the "Fishtown Whitewalls" starting to show...

Letters in. I HATE cleaning wheels plus then the added work of scrubbing the letters to keep them white.

Was able to find Toyo Open Country A/T tires with Outlined White Letters facing out for sure. Was one of my must haves when tire shopping a few months ago. There's some tire shine spray foam that cleans while it shines and it cleans the letters right up without having to touch them.

When I got the new tires put on my truck last July, I meant to tell them to make sure the writing was on the inside, But forgot to, and the writing is on the outside, I find if I keep them clean it looks just fine, and I like it... Just my 2 cents

In. Prefer, IMO, the cleaner uncluttered look of black sidewalls. Plus, some tires I don't want to advertise, Handcock and Kumhole come to mind.

I put letters out because my trucks have been chrome. I like the look but it seems that over the course of 30,000 miles they inevitably start looking like Aqualung's post above.
Would like to see some pictures of chrome package trucks with stock wheels and tires letters in.
