I have a 15 f150 and I am getting my local dealer to install a ready lift 2 1/4" front level and a 1" rear block!! I want to run a 35 x 12.5 x 20 ( stock 6 spoke wheels ) and when I contacted ready lift they said the biggest tire I could run with this kit would be 285 x 65 x 20 Which is a 35 x 11.5" tire!! Has anyone ran the 35's x 12.5" with this setup? Will I be able to fit a spacer possibly with 35's? Thanks
Better yet can I run the tire in the pic attached with my setup? Or am I better off buying this same tire in a 33" and have a wider offset? Also what is the lowest offset I can run with a 33x12.5x20 MT tire?
Search for a thread started by forum member DrFeltersnatch - I'm pretty sure he is running 35x12.5 on his 15' Platinum without any issues. I believe he did 2.5" up front. Think he may have kept the stock block in the back.
Better yet, I'll do all the work for you. The stock rims are a +44 offset. I don't know at what point you'll start rubbing. I have 34" tires, 2.5" lift up from with 1.5" spacers, thus making my offset +7(ish) and I have slight rubbing at full crank in reverse turning the wheel right. It's minimal enough to where I am confident after a couple thousand miles on the tires they won't rub.
Thanks for the link but will there be a difference where I will be running a 2 1/4" level instead of 2 1/2" ?? If I ran the 35 x 12.5 would I have enough clearance to use a spacer so the sidewall wouldn't run on the control arm?
