Tire Size
Hi,
I drive a 2020 F-150 Lariat 4x2. It's got a stock everything. The stock tire size is 265/60R18 110T and I want to change the tire size to bigger and a all-trail type of tire so i can enjoy some off-road as well as daily commute. Questions is: Whats the largest size tire I can install on the current rim (7.5J x18 ET34). Do i need to worry about tire offset, scrub radius etc? Thanks for the help!!!

You could easily go with 275/65 R18 or 275/70 R18 and still clear the crash bars. With the tighter front end clearance of your 2wd, wouldn't go any bigger than 275/70 R18 without some kind of level.
Offset you would be fine on unless you got new tires that are significantly wider, larger in diameter or replaced the wheels with a larger offset than what you have. Going with larger tires, you'll be going slightly more negative on scrub radius, but only by a few fractions of an inch. I think your truck already has a slight negative scrub as designed.

"Offroading" in a 2 wheel drive is obviously going to be very challenging...and tire selection is crucial. This exact topic comes up from time to time and there's always been some good, real-world advice. Poke around with key word searches and see what you can find.

Another thought crossed my mind...that is If I were to get a full set of tires with new rim...what would you recommend the largest rim and tire size I could go without modifying suspensions or even levelling...basically keeping everything stock except the tires.
Thanks again for you help. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the response and appreciate your point...I'm not looking for hardcore off-roading. I want to be able to enjoy simple off roads thats compatible for a 4x2 with good tire traction...nothing on wet and muddy roads or desert sand or climbing rocks type of fun.
275/70/18 is basically a 33inch tire. On the latest models that is ok. If you use OEM wheels then no problem. Problems happen when you go aftermarket wheels with different back-spacing.
