Default Tire Size

So, I purchased a 6 inch suspension lift and will be installing shortly. Question is, I know if I purchase 35 12.50s on 20 rims, I will have to get some cutting done, if I were to chose a 17 inch rim or 18 in rim, will i still need to get things cut to stop the tires from rubbing. Just trying to find the best option. Thanks
Greg

I went with 18 inch fuel wheels with 33 inch tires on a level kit. A lot easier to get 18 inch wheels balanced. Considering installing a 6 inch lift with 35s. If you do it yourself, please let me know how difficult it was or if you run into any issues... Also what brand did you go with?

Good Luck!

Hey Justin,

I am acutally getting a buisness to install everything since I am living on a ship until my retirement and do not have access to my own tools back in VA. But I went with 35s on 20. they will cut what ever they need to so it doesnt rub. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this to my trucks, but figured since I was retiring it would be a present to myself.

I installed raptor sized tires 315/70r17 on 17 rims with a 25 offset. I didn't have to trim anything, but I did stretch out my crash bars. And this is on a 2" level.
