Default Tire question

New to the forum, I have a 2017 4x4 Supercab 2.7 ecoboost f-150. I added the bilstein front leveling kit and currently have the stock 20s with 33 inch Toyo MT tires. With the leveling kit set at the highest setting can I run a 20x9 wheel with 0 offset and 5 inch backspace on a 275/65/20 tires without rubbing?

You’ll probably rub. 34” tire on a 0 offset is pretty aggressive with a 2” level.

A 20x9 wheel and +0 offset with a 275/65/20 should be okay on the 2.1 Bilstein 5100 setting up front. It's probably getting close to not, though.

I would think a 33" tire x 12.5 would be fine on a 2" level. Is there a reason you're set on a +0 offset wheel? If you go with a higher positive offset you can run a bigger tire.

I got the wheels as a swap deal. They’re the moto metal 962 20x9. The wheels currently have 275/60/20 bfg ko2 which I’ll try on today but will need to be replaced soon. Previous owner said he had no rubbing on his 2013 f150 crew cab with a leveling kit.

That makes sense. Pop them on your truck and see how much room you have to the crash bars when you turn the wheel, both the front and rear bars. That's where your rub is going to be. If you think you've got another half inch+ of clearance at the closest point, get those 275/65s and make it happen. Keep in mind where the tire is going to be when it gets tucked into the wheel well when you're looking at clearance. They may look like they clear when you're just sitting there, but when the suspension is moving like when you're off road and the wheel is turned or you're just backing out of a driveway, it may be a different story.
