Default Tire Question?

I am new to this, so please excuse me if this is a stupid question. I have a 2017 STX 2wd.

I just purchased a 2" Rough country leveling kit and want to get bigger tires 33" or 34", but keep the stock 20" rims.

I currently have 275/55/20, which came with the truck

Does anyone know if the following will fit on the stock 20" rims (I believe they are +44mm offset):

1. 275/60/20 - equals 33"
2. 275/65/20 - equals 34.1"

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

275/60R20 will fit without a leveling kit. The 275/65R20 will fit with a leveling kit. The 20" rim is suitable for either one. The best way to check is go to TireRack, select the tire size and look at the specifications. It will give an acceptable rim width range (i.e. 8" - 10") and preferred rim width (i.e. 8.5") for a given tire size.

The 275/60/R20 will fit with a leveling kit (I have them on mine). You're probably right that they will fit without a leveling kit, but I wouldn't bet a ton of money on it. My truck (2WD) is leveled with Bilsteins, front shocks set at 1.75, and the 275/65/R20 rubbed very slightly at full lock. So I went with the 275/60/R20 because I wasn't going to trim anything.
