Default Tire decision

Hello everyone. So the time has come to put some new shoes on the truck, I'm looking for some 275/65r20's that fit my OEM wheels. I've had 3 or more sets of the Cooper ATP on my previous truck but was wanting something a little different. I really like the Cooper St Maxx but it seems that it may be a little too heavy plus the reviews are a little sketchy. The Wildpeak At3 is a cool looking tire but weigh's almost 10 lbs a piece more than the ATP's. Was looking at the Open Country At2 but the cost over the ATP is too significant for such a similar tire. This is a much tougher decision than I wanted so maybe you good folks can help out. Anyone out there have this size All Terrain that weighs under 60 lbs with a fairly aggressive tread ? Post some pics if you can. Thanks in advance folks....

Strongly recommend Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Weight 60.85lbs in that size.

I love my Wild Peaks so far. I swapped to 17" rims and stayed with P-rated 285/70R17 to keep the weight down as much as possible.

I am in the process of making the same decision. Installed the Halo coilovers on my 2017 F150 XLT and the Firestone Ride-Rite Air helper springs. The truck has the stock 20" rims, I plan on keeping these and wanted to go with LT275/65R20 tires. Can't decide between the Nitto Tera Grappler G2, the KO2's, the Falken WildpeakA/T3W and Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx. Weight is a concern with a few of these selections. I ran the original KO's on my '08 F150 and they were great. Currently leaning towards the Nitto Tera Grappler G2.

Another vote for the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Very rugged look without the noise and rough ride of an M/T or R/T tire. I had the G2's on my last truck and I hated them. Now that I have the Grapplers, I'm amazed at the difference. First off, way better wet traction. Could not start out w/o slipping the tires when with the G2's wet. Hydroplaning, was afraid for my life with the G2's. They are not aggressive looking enough for me, side wall is too smooth. also, because of the tight lugs near the corner, they threw up everything (like KO2's) water, stones, all of it. The Grappler lugs are much bigger so they don't kick anything up. If you want something less aggressive, my truck came with the Hankook ATM's, excellent wet and snow traction and very quiet.

What height are you running the Halo coilovers at? Looking to get some myself, but was going to try them at 2.25" with the Raptor style tapered block in the back.

They are still at the original pre-set level of 2.75". I have only put about 1,500 miles on it since the install. My plans are to lower it by a 1/2". I don't like the angle of the front axles at the higher setting. The ride is hard to describe, it does handle bumbs and washboard terrain better. Corners still feel the same, but this is with the stock P class tires. The LT tires will make it better.
