Default Tire chains again

I'm unable to locate the recent thread on this subject. My 2019 seems to lack room between the shock and tire for a tire chain. Are you using cables instead? Solutions appreciated. thanks all.

Look at Glacier chains. I ordered some for my then new 2013 F-150 4x4 with 18" wheels and they do clear the shocks well enough. With the 2019 FX-4 and 17" wheels, I tried fitting the cable chains that I had for recently sold 2003 Ranger 4x4 and never used. They fit and clear the shocks. Yes, the cable chains work in most conditions - drove 300 miles on icy roads in Texas with them. They stayed on and worked plenty good when most everyone else was stuck. Would not try to plow snow with them for long. Not sure what the answer is for the newer trucks in that situation.
