Tips for Paint Touch-Up?
Unfortunately my truck took a hit in a parking lot. No note, nobody around. I tend to park at the end of parking lots, a few spaces from the last car, so as to avoid any unwanted damage from careless folks...however that didn't seem to have stopped this.
This happened in a Home Depot parking lot, and judging by the orange color of the paint left on my truck, and by the height, I believe it was hit with one of the flat shopping carts they use in the lumber section.
In any case, I've picked up the blue touch-up paint from Ford, as well as some fine touch-up brushes from Amazon which I've read work really well.
Any tips from folks who have done this on the best process/technique to touch this up and make it look good?

Be sure to check the paint. The touch up paint I received from the dealership was noticeably different for some reason. Langka blob eliminator is good at smoothing the paint out evenly. Be sure to apply in several light coats.
That sucks brother, hope you get it touched up good. I have a couple rock chips that I need to touch up soon, friend of mine at a body shop told me to use the filter part of a cigarette to kinda smooth the touch up paint over, that way it shouldn't leave any brush marks, we will see. Good luck
