Tip for modifying door seal
Be sure to cut the seal where the seam is fused together. There was a membrane that I had to cut inside the tube or the surgical tube would not have gone through. I also used dish soap for lube and it worked better than spray silicone or wd 40.

Thank you for the tip. Were you able to get the seal back on without much of a gap where the two ends meet?
Didn't have any gap. Made sure to leave about 1/2 inch of surgical hose sticking out of seal on both ends of seal. Then snapped back into place and pushed ends of hose into seal. Also fished wire through seal first then attached to tubing and pulled it through. Lots of dish soap.

Just so we're not confused, are you talking about the seal attached to the cab or the door? I took it to mean the cab seal. Some folks are trying the tubing in the door seal in the top rear corner where the door seal is split and hollow from the factory.
