Default Tinted tails

Hey guys I have a 15 XLT screw in magnetic and I blacked out the badges and now im looking at the tail lights and I think I may nightshade them, along with the third brake light. Does anyone have any pics of this on a magnetic?? Wanted to see what it looked like. Thanks guys.

My neighbor's HS kid has a white Chebby pickup with that "effect," and his brake lights are hardly visible when illuminated - even in dark conditions. Looks and operates GAF, IMHO.

well, you gotta do what looks good to you, not others. IMO, tinted head/tail lights look good on some higher end sport or luxury cars, not so much on most daily drivers on the road.

That's what I think of when I see most vehicles with tinted tail lights.

To each their own I guess.
I personally like it.
Here's mine against black.

That does look good. But where I live, you get pulled over for stuff like that.

I know you can get it all back off but the sanded lenses would look horrible right?

You could get the lights looking new again if they are sanded. Just compound and polish them. Same as headlight restoration.

As long as it's not sanded with like 80 grit that is...even then it's still possible just lots of work
