Default Time to say goodbye

I am…DONE with this Forum!!

”Why?” some of you may ask. It’s because I am now the proud owner of a 2021 PowerBoost, so this Forum won’t be of much help to me anymore.

I have learned so much from you folks, mostly by reading/lurking, and I want to say ‘Thank you!’ I rarely peruse the other Forums, but will now be spending the bulk of my time in the 21+ Forum and expect to learn just as much from those good folks.

Thanks again for all of the help, both directly and indirectly, over the last 3+ years..

Sam

As Curly Bill Brocius said in 'Tombstone': "Well...bye".

Thanks guys. What's really strange is that the foot-longer bed notwithstanding, for some reason this F-150 "feels" much bigger; I can't explain it. It's sort of like when we got our 1st Suburban around 2001, it seemed BIGGER from the inside than it did from the outside.

Need pictures of the new ride. I'm new here as I traded my '13 for a '16 a few weeks ago.

Nice upgrade. I'm glad people are taking the plunge, so Ford can get the battery stuff right on your dime before I end up getting forced into buying one (thanks Brandon).

OTOH, that 7.2KW generator is quite tempting.

The generator was the ONLY reason I left my 2018 Screw-I frickin’ loved that truck, but with the recent purchase of a travel trailer, that extra 12” of wheelbase will tow it better, and the genny alleviates the need to drastically upgrade the battery system on the trailer. BTW, the battery comes with an 8-year warranty from Ford.

Yep, that's a damn powerful (ha, see what I did there?) option. We're looking at building a new squad for the FD... if I could get that on a 3/4 ton chassis, I'd be seriously considering it - even if it means battery. Alas, not yet.
