Me too. That is why I don't like it.

 

I'm more surprised that an aftermarket venue hasn't picked up on this yet.

 

Kind of what I was thinking. A guy on here added a vertical strip to the taillights to complete the outline. The biggest problem is what it would look like when the lights are off. If it wasn't dine right,it would look tacky.
