I have a lariat 4x4 8900 miles. Your IWE's look like the picture? Looks like I'm leaking grease...both sides are caked with a greasy dust.

looks normal to me- if the boot had a crack/hole in it u would have thick grease slime all over the place. cv boots do have and get a grease film on the outside to keep them from making a rubber squeaky noise.

If it's dust, it's likely brake dust.

I thought the same at first until I touched it; likely it's a combo of brake dust and grease

Doesn't look like any grease from the boot to me. I hone one of my boots tear open and fixed under warranty. It slung dark brown grease everywhere. Took forever to get it all off.

That is normal. It's just some seepage mixed with dust. Nothing to be concerned with.

Washing indicator. Just like brake dust. When you see it it's time for a wash.

I would agree as being normal. Mine look the same. When you see it flung on the LCA then you have a problem.
