Things Ford should steal from GM
#32
1. Side view mirrors that tilt down in reverse.
2. Cell phone capability built into the truck. In my area, I have a lot of dropped calls due to poor cell coverage. The GM cell phone feature allowed me to stay in touch regardless of location.
3. Backup lights that actually work, vice poor backup lights and red LED brake light glare in the rear camera.
The Ford F150 is still a better truck overall.

Gabar mentioned it before I could, lol. Gm just filed for a patent on a tailgate step similar to fords. Gm's will fold down out of the tailgate. They showed a image of it, I like fords design better. Gm's might be deeper, more room for your feet.

Brake lines that rot out after a couple years. Oh, wait, forget that. Spare tire fixture that seizes up so you can't remove the spare on the side of the highway when you have a flat. Hmm, no, thats not a good one either. OH I know.. um, no, never mind, I can't think of anything that was on the Chevy that I would want in the Ford.
Front rotors that warp, oh wait that's my Ford!
Seats that don't heat and cool correctly, oh wait that's my Ford!
Driveline that clunks, oh wait that's my Ford!
AC that does not perform correctly, oh wait that's my Ford!
Leaking third brake light, oh wait that's my Ford!
Wind noise, oh wait that's my Ford!
Melting fuel pump fuse, oh wait that's my Ford!
Grinding drivers seat, oh wait that's my Ford!
Shattering rear glass when defrost used, oh wait that's my Ford!
No low windshield washer fluid indicator, no wait that's my Ford!
Need more?

2015 F150 Guy
GM better?
I wound up renting a 2018 Chev Silverado. Here's my take
The Silver BLOWS AWAY my F150 in handling and power. My 5.0 SUCKS compared to the Silver's 5.3 which is both capable and quiet. The handling is MARKEDLY better than the F150 which has excessive body roll and brake dive. I told my wife I was considering trading it in. "But our 150 is so nice". After driving the Silver, "you gotta do thise struts".
My F150 has a WAY better interior design. The Silver looks like is 20 years old inside.
