There might be hope for a better sounding ecoboost exhaust sound

I used to love the sound of the gm v6 in the 90s. They had a nice growl. Listen to the Alfa Giulia QV's v6 it is awesome. V6 doesnt have to sound like a v8 to sound good.
My friends 911 sound nice. Not as deep as the Panamara gts but good in its own right.

My 2.7L has a nice burble at low speed and low RPM's. Really noticeable in a parking garage. I really don't want it any louder than that.
I will admit the V6 sounds from a Alfa, Porsche, Maserati, Nissan GTR, Toyota Supra is wonderful.

NIGHTMARE
Maybe it’s just me but the older I get I really don’t care for the exhaust tone anymore. I’m happy with the fake engine noise in my 2017.
if I wanted that tone I’d just get in my mustang

I feel like the Ecoboost motors are missing any rhythmic pulses to the exhaust flow. Anyone know if this is due to them using a flat-plane crank? I know Ferrari V8s kinda sound like this vs Corvette V8s. Where Corvettes use a cross-plane.

The EB's are not flat plane cranks, the only Ford engine using this is the 5.2 in the GT350. (which btw, IMO, is THE best sounding MP engine on the planet)

I agree, and I would add the G37 to the list. Just sounds strange when a lifted truck sounds like a sports car but that could just be me. I am keeping mine quite so I can hear the turbo whistle.
