Default Test drive

I finally got behind the wheel of a V8 long bed crew. Was disappointed by the ride and seat comfort.
. Is there a big difference in the ride between the 7000 GVWR rated truck like the one I drove and the 6600 lb trucks?
Are Lariat seats more comfortable than the XLT?

A long(ish) bed crew is 7050 GVWR and up in 4x4 trim. 2WD should be 6950 and up for a 157 wheel base 6.5 bed Supercrew .

What exactly did you drive? Are you talking prior model years, those ratings were different and there might have been a 7000 lbs even rating. My Lariat seats are comfortable enough but everyone is different so who knows. Comfort is mostly subjective.

I have a 2019 XLT Crew 4x4 short box and 7000 GVWR. I like the driver's power seat, although I know seat comfort is subjective. As to ride, mine is fitted with factory LT tires, and the door sticker specifies 55 psi. 50 rides much better.

Disappointed by the ride?
Okay. You you thought it was too firm? I mean you thought it was too soft. I mean you thought it didn't hold a line very well? I mean it didn't do well in tight mountain roads?

You want to know if a different truck will be different, but different HOW?.

I know this one is touchy, but can you really determine the seat quality of a seat from a test drive vs. long-term adaptation? What was uncomfortable...the position? The cushion was too soft or too firm? The seat back was in the wrong spot? You should sit in my truck, the comfort is magnificent (for me).

You really haven't given much to go by for an honest assessment of what truck B will offer to you.
Were the tires over inflated on the test vehicle? Under inflated? Evenly inflated?
