Tailgate swop
Hello, I have 2019 XLT Sport and want to add a factory tailgate step. I found a tailgate online that is in good condition and the correct color but it has the remote tailgate release and my truck doesn't. I know it will fit but am wondering if the connector will be the same? Do the trucks that have the remote tailgate release have a different connection because it needs additional power/connection for the popper? Besides the connector would there be anything else to worry about? I want to sell my original tailgate to recoup some of the cost so I really dont want to butcher it to make this work. Thank you
