Default Tailgate step question

Perhaps this has been asked, I can't find if it was.
Anyone know if the tailgate step can be added as a dealer add on or installed at a later date?

I am having second thoughts now that I ordered the truck without it???

I'm no expert but I was under the impression it was a Ford thing. I think that's why its on every 2015 I've seen. The dealer's seem to just include it on every build - XLT and up. Just from what I've seen.

IMO for the cost of it, I'd go ahead and do it. Doesn't seem like something that would slow down your build much if at all.

I really have no idea but my *GUESS* is that it wouldn't be easy to add later. How long ago did you order? A few days or weeks? If it hasn't been very long I'd call the salesman up and see if it could be added to the order.

Good luck!
