So I'm trying to install my Defenderworx tailgate emblem and I'm confused (or stupid). Should I be trying to leave the tape attached to the truck to seal that part of the tailgate or do I push that out with the emblem? Also, the Dworx emblem is secured with two bolts in the middle and washers which is atypical. Does anyone have any insight as to how secure that mounting setup is? Should be fine. The washer and bolt holds it between the sheet metal. You could also add a layer of double sided tape around the perimeter for piece of mind
