Default tailgate light bar

Ok guys I called my local truck place where I buy some my stuff from and I asked them about the dash always saying that I have a trailer connected when all I have is the light bar hard wired in to the 7 pin. They said that ford has told them not to run anything from your tail lights because they don't have enough power to support anything else. So here is a pic of how you have bypass that message on your dash.

I know this is an old post... but will this fix the issues with installing an LED tailgate light bar when you have LED tail lights with BLIS? I have a 2016 F150 if that matters.
