My 2018 Lariat has the auto tailgate release and until today it has worked flawlessly. Today, I noticed that it took two touches on the button or two touches on the key fob to release it. Now, it won’t open at all. I can hear the sound of it trying to release but it’s not. Any ideas on how to fix it?

The release solenoids are a known failure point. Your release mechanism probably needs replacing. Its a pretty straight forward replacement. This thread might help.
