Wondering if anyone else has had this problem or found a solution to their tailgate button not working. I have a 2015 Platinum and the tailgate button is not longer working. For awhile it would release automatically while driving and drop the tailgate then I believe the dealer disconnected it completely. I can still access the tailgate by using the remote. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I think there is an option to turn that button's operation on and off in the vehicle settings available thru the steering wheel buttons. Check to make sure it hasn't been disabled thru that.

 

Until you get it repaired and in addition to the key fob you can drop the tailgate using the keypad on the door.
Since I leave my key fob in my pocket mostly I use the keypad when I get out of the truck to drop so by the time I walk back there its down.
Also, per the manual, it should never drop while driving. I hear people say the fob in their pocket gets accidentally pressed and drops the tailgate while driving..It shouldn't if working properly
