Hey guys, just noticed my tailgate does not appear to be "latching" on the driver side. I don't feel that "click" of the latch when closing compared to the passenger side. I can even use my hands and pull on the tail gate on the driver side and it will move slightly when closed (a few millimetres) whereas the passenger side does not. It doesn't feel like it is going to fall off anywhere but there is a little bit of movement on that side.

Am I correct in assuming both sides should latch tight?

Yup both sides should latch tight. Either you can adjust the catch or bring it into service. Should only take a few minutes to do.
