Default tag lights (led)

I ordered some new led tag lights a while back and never installed them. I was scared of the extra making the back up camera unusable due to glare. anyone had this issue?

no issue when I installed them but also depends on the what or rather whose LEDs you use.

I installed SYLVANIA 168 ZEVO LED Mini Bulb and they were perfect... available at your local wallyworld usually.

I used the lights from Diode Dynamics. No issues.

x2, I used these in both my '16 and now my '19. No issues at all.

No issues with glare with the Diode Dynamics bulbs... but they are super bright, so I had to put some black vinyl wrap over half the lights to block it from lighting up my whole tailgate.
Even with half the lens blocked, they still are super bright... no glare with backup camera with or without the added tape.

I didn't have that issue. Install them and try it out. Won't take you long to go back to stock if you decide they glare too much.
