I have a new (since April) 2019 F150 XLT 3.5 EB that gives a warning message on every start-up that a system update is incomplete and some features may not be available. It wants to connect to WiFi to complete the update but fails to connect both at home and at work. All other devices connect OK at both locations.

At the first oil change today I asked about the system update and connection problem. The service interface guy claimed that all Ford models have this problem and there is no known solution... hard to believe. True or false?

 

Wouldn't be the first time I've heard "they all do it" as a reason for something not working right. Not a first for them using that as a reason not to do anything either...
